ABOUT
MUSIC
My name is Indigo Passariello and I go by Indigo Una. I'm a summa cum laude graduate of Howard University's Jazz Studies program. I teach virtual guitar lessons independently and through Art Hour DC. You can also take prerecorded classes of mine through my Patreon.
When I'm not teaching, I arrange, transcribe, perform, and record music for myself and for hire. I'm also a rhythm guitarist in the all-Black femme rock band The TxLips and one-third of the Soul Sistas vocal group.
UJIMA STUDIOS
Starting out in my make-shift apartment recording studio, the idea of building a mobile recording studio wasn't really on my mind. Then the lockdowns began and those four walls started to feel a lot smaller. My partner and I saved up by teaching virtual music lessons and purchased a camper trailer. Follow our journey as we turn it from a trailer to a mobile studio.
WRITING
During my time at Howard, I fell in love with writing about music. I began reading my essays and performing music to accompany them in my performances. Eventually, this led me to be invited to speak and sing at the National Press Club's Beyond War Conference. I am currently available for virtual readings and speaking opportunities.
